At Park Station Dental Group, we know convenience and confidence are your utmost concerns. We understand being referred to another office is time-consuming and stressful. Because of that, we’re delighted to be able to offer most common dental services right here, in our own office, with no extra travel time.
Here’s a list of our most requested services; if you are interested in something that you don’t see here, please don’t hesitate to ask any member of our team. We’re happy to serve you!
Preventive Care
Like a fine automobile, your road to health begins with regular maintenance. Get started today by investing the time to maintain your own body…and keep it running smoothly for years to come. With prevention comes better oral health overall, reduced oral cancer susceptibility, diminished adult tooth loss and happier, healthier patients. We offer:
Regular Cleanings
Periodontal Disease Prevention and Maintenance
Oral Cancer Screening
Restorations (fillings)
If you’re like most people, you’ve had a cavity. In the past, you would have received an amalgam (silver) filling, which can be easily seen when you laugh or open your mouth wide. Modern dentistry has replaced the amalgam filling with several that cannot be discerned from your natural tooth. These tooth-colored materials, ranging from composite resins to porcelain, are precisely matched to your existing tooth color - making your smile as natural as if you’d never had a cavity at all.
Crown and Bridge
Both crowns and bridges are used to replace missing teeth, protect teeth that are structurally compromised and improve the look of your smile. We place a high value on the aesthetic quality of the crowns and bridges we place here at Park Station Dental Group. Because of our commitment to beauty, we work with only a group of select dental labs that share our dedication and meet our strict requirements for excellence. It’s imperative that we provide you not only with a gorgeous crown or bridge, but also a highly functional one that will continue to serve you for years to come.
Root Canal Therapy
Root canal treatment is about saving teeth, rather than removing them. In the past, the only way to treat a diseased tooth was to pull it. Modern dentistry allows us the ability to save damaged teeth over 90% of the time, though a damaged tooth will not heal by itself. A root canal treats disorders of the nerve (pulp) of the tooth, including trauma (such as a physical blow), irritation caused by deep decay, advanced gum disease, pain or throbbing while biting, sensitivity to hot and cold, and severe decay or an injury that creates inflammation. We are delighted to be able to perform root canals and related procedures in-office, so patients don't have to be referred out. Since Dr. Bailey's practice is focused on endodontics (root canal therapy), she is highly experienced and ready to serve your needs.
Bleaching
America’s number-one most requested cosmetic dental procedure is tooth whitening. We certainly understand why; people want to look their very best in social situations and they want to take every advantage of career opportunities. We have several ways to address your whitening needs. Most important in your choice of methods is how much time you have to devote to the whitening process. From one hour to several weeks of effort, we have the whitening method that will work best for your schedule and your budget.
Zoom! bleaching Zoom! is a one hour, in office whitening procedure that can produce dramatic results in a short period of time. You may have seen Zoom! featured prominently on ABC’s hit show “Extreme Makeover”. We are trained and certified by Discus Dental (the patent holder of the Zoom! product) to provide this life-changing service. Be sure and ask us about it.
At-home bleaching Many people prefer to bleach their teeth on their own schedule, in the privacy of their own home. To support this need, we do offer whitening agents used in conjunction with custom bleaching trays made from an impression of your own teeth. We also offer Professional Strength Crest Whitestrips®, which are not sold in stores.
Veneers
Veneers are very thin pieces of porcelain, about the thickness of a baby’s fingernail, that cover the tooth surface and completely mask stains, spacing, or poorly shaped teeth. If you’d like to reshape, straighten or perfect your smile or permanently whiten your teeth without or in conjunction with bleaching, veneers are an excellent option. Many patients are concerned about the amount of healthy tooth that must be reduced/removed to place a veneer, and with good reason. Actually, there are “non-reduction” to “minimal-reduction” systems available that dramatically improve the smile with little to no tooth reduction. If you’re like most people, you’ll be thrilled to know that a great smile can be yours without shots or drilling! We are certified by Cerinate to place
Lumineers and by Experience/Utah Valley Labs to place
Durathins. These are two very successful veneer products.
